Happy Memorial Day, May 28 2012
This is my first post on this blog which is going to be about my home art studio and the progress of art projects taking place there. On deck is a portrait painting of my friend Vic's sheepdog, which I promised to her as a Christmas gift. ( yes, I know it has been a while since Xmas) I also hope to make a painting using several of the photos of her pet, Bubbles, in an imaginary background. This is a difficult task - making all the lighting and relative sizes accurate without an actual scene or photo to reference. I may be biting off more than I can chew, but challenges are how artists grow!
